The new reception gallery of Etsy's headquarters is an acoustically quiet space wrapped with industrial wool felt panels that provide glimpses into the open office beyond. Natural and re-purposed materials - rubber & cork floors, custom wood doors, and the landscaped entryway - are used in the interior to absorb and diffuse sound. The dark yet neutral palette serves as a backdrop for display of art and furniture created by local Etsy sellers.
