This 29,000 sf renovation in one of Greenpoint's landmarked pencil factories provides a multi-functional headquarter for Kickstarter. The design includes a habitable green roof, gallery, theater, office spaces, and library. Re-purposed steel trusses from the former roof frame a new glass courtyard which brings natural light into all levels of the interior and provides views of a fern grove, flowering trees, birds, butterflies and a rain chain.
